Baptism

"An outward expression of an inward change"

Understanding Baptism

The word "Baptism" as it appears in the Bible is translated from the Greek word baptizo, which means to immerse, plunge, or dip. It refers to an act of submersion in water followed by emergence from the water, historically in public rivers.

What is Baptism?

What is the Significance of Baptism?

Baptism is an outward expression of an inward change that has occurred in your heart. Baptism is your opportunity to show the world outwardly the incredible miracle that Jesus has done inwardly.

Why Should I be Baptized?

Baptism is a special step in following the example set by Jesus. In Matthew Jesus commanded baptism and it is also a public confession of faith that demonstrates to the world that I am a believer.
