Kindergarten Readiness

Pre-K

About the class

Our Pre-K classroom cares for and teaches up to 20 children ages 4-5 years old. Teachers engage the children in daily devotionals, letter of the week, and activities. At these ages, children learn best through hands-on experiences and exploring. A typical day includes rich opportunities for pretend play, music, art, science, writing, and reading activities.

About the class

Kindergarten Readiness is a class which occurs on an as needed basis. One month prior to a term (the school year, or summer break) a decision is made on whether the center will be offering Kindergarten Readiness based on family interest and enrollment. If we do not offer Kindergarten Readiness as an individual class, it may be offered as a smaller period during PreK’s nap to the older kids. Our  Kindergarten Readiness class cares for children 5-6 years old. This class is a transitional class between Pre-K and Kindergarten and is designed to prepare children for kindergarten.
