Children's Ministry

We are delighted to welcome children and parents to Court Street! Our team values creating healthy, safe and fun environments for children to learn about loving God & loving others. We think that meaningful relationships are the most important starting point for teaching kids, and that making great memories together is a great part of living in community. We hope to use our resources to best love & support your family. See you Sunday!

As always, Children's Ministry is a top priority for safety precautions and health considerations. We've learned best practices from our licensed Childcare Center, and we use those same methods on Sundays to protect children & families from illness. Please contact our team with any questions.

Check In

Keeping it Fast & Simple!

As you walk up to our building on Sundays, please stop by our outdoor tents to let us know your family is here. Once inside, our Children's Ministry has a separate station to give children their nametags & welcome them into our care.

Parents will receive a pager number that matches their child's name tag; the number will appear on the screens in service if we need to contact any family members.

To ensure the safety of all in our care, we will conduct a quick (touchless) temperature check and ask about any symptoms before parents bring their child to class.

Nursery to PreK

We love babies! We usually host a nursery space on Sundays, but currently our needs are low as parents choose to keep their youngest family members with them during service. We watch the Sunday Attenders list weekly to open the room as needed. If this is something that interests you, please email our team at

We also have a Mother/Baby room available at the back of the Worship Center for a private setting to nurse or let babies wiggle during service. Each lobby bathroom is equipped with diaper changing stations, as well.

Toddlers - PreK

These ages need a safe & fun place at church to wiggle, play, and learn. This age group includes free play, story time, songs, games, and crafts. Children are at various stages in practicing healthy social interactions and learning how to be part of a group environment. We have a bathroom attached to our classroom, so please communicate to our team any diapering or potty training considerations.

Masks on Little Children

Children under age 5 are welcome to bring masks, but we also recognize these ages may have difficulty wearing face coverings. We follow the county & state guidelines for mask requirements, so they will not be mandatory for our younger ages.  As always, our volunteers wear masks & encourage kids to respect each other's space during play.

Elementary Ages

Kindergarten - Grade 5

You'll find our group upstairs doing songs, stories, games, crafts, and all kinds of fun. We love building relationships with children, and introducing them to the amazing love of God.

For this age group, we ask that children wear face coverings the entire time they're in our building.

For any children & youth who choose to participate in service with the adults, feel free to stop by our table in the lobby for a bag of coloring & quiet activities.

Other Resources

Baptism is an exciting step in a person's faith journey. If your child is interested in learning more about Baptism or is wanting to be baptized, we'd love to encourage them. Please contact us or head over to the baptism page to learn more about Baptism.

Baby Dedications

Baby Dedications are one way to publicly celebrate and welcome your newest family member. A pastor says a prayer of blessing over the parents & child, and it's a reminder of our community's role in partnering with parents to teach children the unconditional love of God. Please contact our pastoral team to learn more.
