This summer, Children's Ministry is adapting for extra care and safety precautions. We've learned from our licensed Childcare Center to understand the best practices in protecting children & families from illness.
At this time, we'll only be offering care at the 11am Sunday service in the Nursery (ages 0-2) and Playground group (ages 3-5). Families may also bring their children into the Worship Center for services, but we've created a safe & clean space for wiggles & laughter.
For any children & youth who will be participating in service with the adults, feel free to stop by our table in the lobby for a bag of coloring & quiet activities.
Stop by our outdoor check-in table this summer!
Because we are currently having families RSVP before attending services, we are pre-printing name tags for all children entering our care.
Parents will receive a pager number that matches their child's name tag; the number will appear on the screens in service if we need to contact any family members.
To ensure the safety of all in our care, we will conduct a quick (touchless) temperature check and ask about any symptoms before parents bring their child to class.
We've changed our Nursery location as an extra precaution to separate toys & spaces from our midweek Childcare Center. With clear signs, you'll find our nursery at the first door on the right in our downstairs hallway at our 11am service.
Please drop your child at the door & give any instructions for care. Our nursery workers will be wearing masks and 'scrubs' as an outer layer to minimize skin contact. We will not be offering snacks or pacifiers. We encourage parents to bring any water or snacks for their child.
With a very small group size, we are excited for toddlers to play in a safe, fun, nurturing environment with an experienced care team.
To make the most of our summer weather, we're welcoming a small group of children to the playground at our 11am service! They'll play & have Bible story time outside, so we recommend sunscreen, hats, and good shoes for running on bark chips. Kids are welcome to bring their own waterbottle, though we'll offer disposable Dixie Cups as well. No snacks will be offered at this time.
This age is not required to wear masks, but these children are welcome to bring them! Our volunteers will wear masks & encourage kids to respect each other's space during play.
Ages 6 & Up
Every summer we have a month of "Family Services" for Children and Youth to participate in the worship service alongside their families. We love to make it fun for all ages, but we also offer activity bags in the lobby for kids to bring into the service. These bags include drawing supplies and quiet activity options. Families are also welcome to bring their own fidget spinners or coloring books.
Baptism is an exciting step in a person's faith journey. If your child is interested in learning more about Baptism or is wanting to be baptized, we'd love to encourage them. Please contact us or head over to the baptism page to learn more about Baptism.
