Christmas Benevolent Drives

Helping Families at Richmond School

Nov 15 - Dec 11

Every year we help the children of Richmond Elementary over their holiday break. There is a high percentage of students in our neighborhood who rely on schools for 2 meals per day, so this year the school has asked for help with food boxes and utility bills for several families. We've prepared the Winco shopping lists, and we hope to fill 50 food boxes before December 11. The school will administer distributing additional financial donations to keep children warm over break.

Supporting Churches
in Ethiopia

Dec 1 - Dec 31

We are collecting money to support repairs on the buildings of established churches in western Ethiopia. Our missions partners Craig & Alison Fowler have identified four of their churches in Metekel that were destroyed or damaged due to the conflicts and upheaval in the region. The area has just opened up, so any financial donations will go towards caring for these churches and providing building materials.

Special Donations
to our Church

Through Dec 31
(and beyond)

Please consider making a special financial gift to Court Street this Christmas. Like many churches, we've experienced a decrease in donations through the pandemic. As we make financially responsible decisions for sustainable ministry in 2023, every penny counts towards continuing to preach the gospel and serve our Salem & Keizer community.

Christmas Day

Sunday, December 25, 2022

This year Christmas lands on a Sunday! We hope you come participate in person for our Christmas Candlelight services on the 23rd & 24th-- Those services are the culmination of how our church celebrates Christmas together. We've decided to make a pre-recorded Christmas Day service available for Dec 25 so that our pastors, staff and volunteers can all take a sabbath to celebrate Christ's birth with their families.
