Financial Update

September 30, 2025

Dear Church,

Thank you for faithfully giving your tithes and offerings to your church! We have shortened these mid-year updates with just the essential financial numbers. More information will be included in our end-of-year update.

3 Big Wins:

  • Attendance is steadily increasing - around 250 each week!

  • The Happy Birthday Court Street matching gift raised $13,902 in total! Thank you to all who participated!

  • The Back-to-School Carnival generated many new contacts with neighbors! Way to go Bethany and our Children’s Ministry team.

2025 numbers so far:

Year to Date Spending: $438,687 (this is almost $18,000 below budget!)

Year to Date Income: $394,768

Spending exceeded income by $43,919 (in 2024, this number was $68,000!)

What does that look like during the average week?

Average Spending: $12,715 per week

Average Income: $11,442 per week (up from $10,417 in 2024)

How are we doing on the mortgage?

Current mortgage owed: $2,152,760.54

Monthly payment: $16,640.94

In this past quarter, you probably noticed that we experienced some unexpected financial challenges. Our elevator, sanctuary HVAC, and main entrance glass door all had extensive repairs. The HVAC repairs are still in progress, but the combined total costs will be at least $25,000.

The elders have been dwelling in James 1 for the past few weeks where James invites us into a new way of seeing challenges like these as opportunities to develop perseverance. We’ve seen God provide for the door and elevator in surprising ways and we continue to live by faith that God perseveres with us! Let’s join together in prayer, discerning how God is calling us to each do our part.

On behalf of the elders, pastors, and financial team,

Josh Fisher, Lead Pastor
