Youth Ministry
A welcome from our youth pastor
Hello! My name is Mark Schearer and I've been serving here at Court Street for over 8 years! The youth program here focuses on relationships -- when we spend time together, we learn (and show) who God really is! If you're in
6th-12th grade, you're invited to come check it out!

I believe that Christ wants to transform our lives, even in the areas where we feel broken. At Court Street, I work hard to create an environment where young people feel accepted, loved, and encouraged to grow in their relationship with Christ. We play games together, study the Bible together, and lead by example in worship, prayer, and attitude.

Youth Group
Middle and High School students are welcome every Wednesday from 6:30-7:45pm. We start with a message, and then transition into small groups to discuss the teachings and apply them in our lives personally. After small groups, we play group games. Wednesday nights are perfect for students who want to grow closer to God and have fun in community.
Bible Study
Middle and High School Students are both welcome to join our Bible Study on Tuesday nights from 7-9pm. Each week include Worship, Study, and Community, but we rotate which one we emphasize. Our goal is to spend intentional time each week growing to reflect the image of Jesus.
Sunday Mornings
Youth Ministry has taken over the Café on Sundays! Each week we serve our church before services with free drip coffee and a limited menu of drinks to order. We've given training for youth to take orders, run the espresso machine, and all the other practical skills for running a coffee shop. Reach out if you want to join our rotation of volunteers, or stop by to see us in action.

Events
In addition to our weekly groups, we have special events that happen once a month. They can range in length from a couple of hours to all day events to retreats and camps! These events are intentionally chosen to cultivate an enviroment of close community while bonding through fun activities and shared experiences.
