We're all broken, no matter where we came from (Romans 3:23).
In spite of this, we believe that Christ wants to transform our lives (John 3:23). At Court Street we work hard to create an environment where our young people will feel accepted, loved, and encouraged to grow in their relationship with Christ (Psalm 133:1). We do this by playing games together, studying the Bible together, and leading by example in worship, prayer, and attitude.
A Welcome from Pastor Mark:
Hello! My name is Mark Schearer and I've been serving here at Court Street for over 5 years! The youth program here focuses on relationships. We believe that when we are in relationship with one another it is one of the best ways to show who God is.
What to Expect on Sunday
Every Sunday from 11am-12pm we meet upstairs in the youth room. We start by hanging out in the beginning (foosball, video games and such), then a 20ish minute message followed by a group game.
Every Wednesday from 6:30-7:45 the Youth Group meets in the upstairs room at the church for our Wednesday Night Programs. The night starts with a short message (about 10 minutes) then we go into small groups. These groups stay the same throughout the whole year to help facilitate relationships and growth. The night then ends with an active group game.
Tuesday Bible Study
Every Tuesday we have Bible Study at the church from 7pm-9pm. This is scripture heavy and intended for those who desire more.
Throughout the year we do a number of other special events as a group. We do 2 all-nighters, a Halloween Party, Christmas Party, Summer Kick-off Party, School Kick-off party, and MANY more. Check here or outside the Youth Room for specifics on events once they are scheduled.
Due to Covid 19 pandemic all activities have been postponed.
