A Welcome from Pastor Mark:
Hello! My name is Mark Schearer and I've been serving here at Court Street for over 5 years! The youth program here focuses on relationships, even when we're in the middle of a pandemic. When we are in relationship with one another, we get to learn (and show) who God really is! Even in the middle of this pandemic, we are spending time together outside & online. If you're entering 6th-12th grade, you're invited to come check it out!
For more information about how to get involved, contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org
We're all broken, no matter where we came from (Romans 3:23).
In spite of this, we believe that Christ wants to transform our lives (John 3:23). At Court Street, I work hard to create an environment where young people feel accepted, loved, and encouraged to grow in their relationship with Christ (Psalm 133:1). We play games together, study the Bible together, and lead by example in worship, prayer, and attitude.
11am Youth Room
Usually, we meet every Sunday from 11am-12pm upstairs in the youth room. We start by hanging out in the beginning (foosball, video games and such), then a 20ish minute message followed by a group game.
Right now, we've been participating in Sunday services remotely via YouTube. Check with Mark for the latest!
This summer, Mark is hosting Monday night Bible Study at 6-7:30pm in his backyard! It's a fun, socially distanced time around the firepit. Reach out for the address & latest Bible study topic.
Wednesdays during the school year the Youth Group meets upstairs from 6:30-7:45pm. The night starts with a short message (about 10 minutes) then we go into small groups. These groups stay the same throughout the whole year to help facilitate relationships and growth. The night then ends with an active group game.
