Youth Ministry

A Welcome from Pastor Mark:

Hello! My name is Mark Schearer and I've been serving here at Court Street for over 5 years! The youth program here focuses on relationships, even when we're in the middle of a pandemic.  When we spend time together, we learn (and show) who God really is!  With proper safety precautions, we've had a lot of fun meeting together regularly. If you're entering 6th-12th grade, you're invited to come check it out!

For more information about how to get involved, contact me at mschearer@courtstreet.org

I believe that Christ wants to transform our lives, even in the areas where we feel broken. At Court Street, I work hard to create an environment where young people feel accepted, loved, and encouraged to grow in their relationship with Christ. We play games together, study the Bible together, and lead by example in worship, prayer, and attitude.

Sundays

11am Youth Room

Usually, we meet every Sunday from 11am-12pm  upstairs in the youth room. We start by hanging out in the beginning (foosball, video games and such), then a 20ish minute message followed by a group game.

Right now, we've been participating in Sunday services remotely via YouTube. Check with Mark for the latest!

Mid-Week

Wednesday Group

Middle and High School students are invited to Court Street every Wednesday from 6-8pm. We start with a message (roughly 25 minutes), and then transition into small groups to discuss the teachings and apply them in our lives personally. After small groups, we play group games.

Wednesday nights are perfect for students who want to grow closer to God and have fun in community.
